Is this just experience of life and the realisation that nothing much ever changes unless something drastic happens or am I becoming an old git I think I know the answer.
some of us remember the 60s free love, flower power, hippies.70s punk rockers, 80s glitter bands 90s new romantics the list goes on we enjoy it but eventually conform true or faults?
I must admit I`m getting more cynical the older I get .?
Most of my cynicism comes from age merely from the fact that I've seen it all or else lived, so the surprise factor is gone. I will say through that in the last five years there has been surprises. Mainly by the way people treat each other; the harshness to each other. And like you said we do conform to it all.

My question is in regards to trees growing thru power lines-?
We planted a tree several yrs ago a little off set under our power lines in our back yard. It was supposed to be a semi dwarf flowering plum. However, it is getting larger than it said originally. It is now just almost touching some of the lines- Is there any danger to touch a branch that is touching a power line way above? Theres no way anyone could ever climb up high enough to actually touch a powerline, as those are way up there- I am a little concerned since we have 2 small children. Thanks

Don't take chances %26amp; try to prune it yourself... if it is that close to the power lines. The power Company that owns the lines will cut them for you. In our area they do it free of charge. Why not give them a call?
Reply:In most areas the power company will come out and prune it for you if you call. (mostly to protect their investment). I would probably give them a call. In the meantime, you will be fine to touch the tree. The tree will ground any electrical currents, so you shouldn't worry about touching it. However with small kids (who like to climb trees) you might want to put a fence around it to keep them out.
Reply:usually here in houston the light company will prune any trees touching their lines and they come out on yearly basis. dont try prunning it yourself leave it to the proffesionals, they will come by and prune trees when they think it is time to prune in an area also they have people that drive areas to report when trees need to be prunned, dont chance it youself, you could get hurt and killed if your tool touches a powerline, let them do it and they will do it when they feel it is nessary

The one reason I'll never work as a commercial arborist is because most of the work (and most of the money) is in line clearance. I do my best to stay FAR away from powerlines when I'm doing tree work.

I want to build a natural material outdoor privacy screen,maybe grapevine or tree branches. Any ideas or tips?
5 to 7 feet wide, approx 10 feet tall on treated posts in concrete. Want some wind to go through. Will be at the end of my porch in the shade most of the day. Might plant a flowering vine under it. Something simple with only basic tools (power drill, hammer, staple gun). Send photos if possible. I'm not a carpenter. My only talent is sewing and quilting! LOL! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

Rainbows, Stars, unicorns, butterflys, hearts, flowers?
I love all things like this, like really love them. When im board I doodle and these things is all i draw.
Why do i love these things. What catagory would you put them in? if you know what i mean. No im not drunk or a hippy or into flower power. Im a mum of a 4 year old boy.
Im gonna get a tatto of all these cute things.
Give me a word to describe all these things.
Can anyone relate to me?
Rainbows, Stars, unicorns, butterflys, hearts, flowers?
you need a daughter! both of my girls went thru phases of loving these things. they are great comforts to the mind. gentle and beautiful all of them. magical too. i don't know what category but sweet. love it.
you are a sweet soul. i am glad you seem to be feeling a lot better. i used to always tell my daughter when she went to sleep to think about rainbows and unicorns. it helped keep the nightmares away.

My kitten keeps biting?
we just got a two month old kitten two weeks ago. We named her tillie. I am just wondering why she keeps biting and how to make her stop. If you have any information about this problem, it would be helpful. Thanks in advance,

It's what kitties do! they love to play and that's how they start to learn their "hunting" abilities. She might also be teething. You might find her teeth on things too so don't freak out about that. If there's any hissing or spitting involved with the biting, then I would ask your vet about it, otherwise she's just being a kitty. she'll grow out of it.

a solution wold to buy a small cat toy that she could chew on but don't let it have a string she might swallow it and she could choke on it but buy her a cheap Mouse toy and that will help stop the bite marks on your hand hope this helps :)
