Flower Power?

I have a good friend whos birthday is coming up soon...I want to, get her a flower (or flowers) as simple "friendly" birthday present...I don't want to send the wrong message to her thinking that I'm interested in her (which i'm honestly not)...others have to told me, if thats what I want to do, for me to stay away from roses...Any suggestions on flowers as a birthday present?

Roses are fine, but for friendship you use the yellow rose. If represents "friendship." I'd send a friendship card along with it. A red rose if "love." Black flowers, are for when you hit 40 years old. But sure, you can send her yellow flowers for friendship. Or any other flowers, but I'd be sure to send the friendship card with them or she might get the wrong idea. With roses, yellow usually displays the message because most people, not all people know it represents friendship. But I would be safe and send a birthday friendship card anyways.

Reply:No red roses..... I would go for simple white daisies......a bouquet, with a humorous friendship card. With daisies, she won' t think something else. That' s it. Don' t forget to write the word friend in bold in your message....;-))
