Why is it that free sex is considered by some to be the height of freedom?

Is this a remnant of the flower-power movement?

Or is it just the brute instincts that appeal to some?

Does promiscuity forward culture or does it destroy culture?

i think it destroys culture. if all one cares about is the freedom to please themself - they care not for the other person. if they don't care about another person - we're all screwed ; )
Reply:Well first off, I think sex is cool and you don't need to be married to do it. People should do what works, they should know the consequences of their actions as well. They should also know how to protect themselves. Many people are prudes when it comes to sex, they think its sinful and wrong, and that it has to be done within a certain way such as religion. Human beings are sexual, you can't deny that, so they rebel and its unnatural to say that sex and sexuality is "wrong" and thus rebel to human nature, which is to have sex.

Reply:It may be a brute instinct, but it can lead to a spiritual experience.
