How does the magical power of the flower provide opportunity for misuse?
It can make anyone fall in love with anyone else... So, you could force someone who detests you to love you, you could force two people to love each other for your own purposes (think arranged marriage), you could make your spouse fall in love with someone else so you can then divorce them for cheating and it'd be considered their fault, you could have two people fall in love with the same person so they'll fight each other to the death (as almost happens in the play)... The possibilities are endless.
