Why is their a power flower at the top of the castle in super mario 64 DS?
Yes, you can go to the top of the castle by getting all 150 stars, then going into the cannon near the water outside the castle. There is also three extra lives and a bunny for luigi's mini game up there. It is only for when you get all 150 stars. Reply:You know how Mario flies when he gets the power flower? Well, once you get all 150 stars (yes, it takes a while but its worth it) a cannon open up outside of the castle. You can hop in and launch yourself to the power flower. Then, as Mario, you'll be free to fly around. It's like an extra reward for beating the game 100%.
