Do cons really believe that if Gore became president, we'd be reading the Koran by now?

I hear this phrase every once in a while from cons.

Don't you think Republicans have lost all credibility on having the power to predict the future?

On Iraq, they said Iraqis would welcome us as liberators and with flowers. They said oil revenue would pay for the occupation. They said there were no doubts Iraq had WMDs. They said the insurgency was in it's death throws. They said the mission was accomplished. They said the violence would go down after killing Saddam's sons. They said the violence would go down after capturing Saddam. They said the violence would go down after elections. They said the violence would go down after Saddam was executed.

Then there was the all predictions of doom and gloom when Clinton and Democratic congress passed the Omnibus Budget Reconcilation Act of 1993. They predicted recessions and deficits. Under Clinton, the economy grew every month he was president.

Do cons really believe that if Gore became president, we'd be reading the Koran by now?
There is no accusation so absurd that right-wingers will not choose to believe it.
Reply:Gore has 'fallen out of love with politics' as a result of his getting beaten in 2000. That serves as clear evidence to me that the man has not the backbone or, stomach to win or, lead anything.

The Iraqi people as a whole have welcomed our presence there. If not, we would have suffered many more deaths at their hands. Saddam did everything within his power to make the world think he either had or, was developing WMDs - how convenient that Clinton supporters forget the way he continually made a fool out of Clinton throughout his presidency. The mission - ousting Saddam - was accomplished long ago. The greater share of violence is being imported into Iraq by outside forces in an attempt to overthrow the government now in place and take control of the country. The Iraqi government itself is asking us to stay and help overthrow the terrorists and those same outside influences. To abandon them now would only serve to allow for the new government and the Iraqi country itself to be wiped off the map.

Clinton was a cost-deferrer, caring more about his popularity than our national interests. It is easy to stock-pile money while robbing and dismantling our military and their benefits and otherwise, doing nothing to stop the train wreck of terroristic plots that were obviously brewing throughout his presidency, while neglecting our national interests. He stalled on costly decisions and he handed off a host of problems to our current president.

Perhaps, you should look at the trade agreements with China, NAFTA and the Clintons' connections with Wal-Mart to see where our economy has gone wrong long term.

The fact that our economy has continued to grow despite gas prices, despite the war, despite Katrina, despite 9/11 can be easily proven with just the click of a search engine. Our unemployment rate is 4.3%.
Reply:If Gore had not had the election stolen from him , we would't be in Iraq a hell hole. We didn't need to go to Iraq , they hadn't done one thing to us, old crazy Bush just wanted Saddam for Daddy. I don't care what those Conservatives say, look at what they are presenting as the next President. old Rudy is a crooked as Bush, McCain is completely crazy and the rest just look like , ha wat ya sa. Just a complete bunch of no do nothing quacks, there isn't one of them and their first lady that wouldn't look like , The Beverly Hillbillies.

Look old Buchanan and Bay now that takes the cake they tried to win the President and first lady 5 times, if they had of won, what a pair of , I don't know what a pile of nothing that would have been , WHEW. We would have been the laughing stock of the world just like we are right now.
Reply:Yes. I believe his politics are the same as the Clinton's. If he would have been the President on 9/11 he would have begged the U.N. to save us. They would not have, because even though we pay for the majority of the bills at the U.N. we get no respect from them. After the U.N. turned Gore down he would have panicked and begged the Taliban for mercy and promised them any thing if the would just stop being mean to him.
Reply:No. We will be reading Koran if H. Clinton becomes the US president.

However, if Gore becomes the US president, the gas price will probably increase by 300%.
Reply:Hi C%26amp;L I missed you bro the cons tried to silence me but I nuked their trolls and clones.
Reply:Here is some information for you :

Thought you might be interested in this forgotten bit of information......... It was 1987! At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of Lt.Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan Administration. There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree, but what he said was stunning! He was being drilled by a senator; "Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?" Ollie replied, "Yes, I did, Sir." The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, "Isn't that just a little excessive?" "No, sir," continued Ollie. "No? And why not?" the senator asked. "Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir." "Threatened? By whom?" the senator questioned. "By a terrorist, sir" Ollie answered. "Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?" "His name is Osama bin Laden, sir" Ollie replied. At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn’t. A couple of people laughed at the attempt. Then the senator continued. Why are you so afraid of this man?" the senator asked. "Because, sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of." Ollie answered."And what do you recommend we do about him?" asked the senator. "Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth." The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip. By the way, that senator was Al Gore!

Don't you wish they had listened to Ollie North back then? Hmmm
Reply:Absolutely. But the democrats claim that we wouldn't be in Iraq, or even have been attacked on 911, if Big Al were president.
