Do you like my poem? Answer with critique, but not to cruel please. :)?

*Diversity*

I am white

You are black

Everyone’s different

So why do we have to fight?

No one is bizarre

Maybe just diverse

It isn’t like,

They’re some person that is cursed

Why can’t everyone bestow,

The varied people in our world?

And maybe then our tolerance

Will grow and grow and grow

To be like on big flower

In the middle of a field,

That one little flower has the power,

To change the whole wide world

If everyone could understand

That no one is a freak

Then maybe just maybe

It’s happiness our world can seek

~ John F. Kennedy once said that if more politicians knew poetry, and more poets knew politics, well,..well then the world would be a much better place ~

And your poem seems to prove his point. The message is nice ~ well, actually strong ~ , and the metaphpor in regards to the flower paints a beautiful picture for the reader. Keep up with the writing, k?
