Do you think thats the Revolution can happen again? Im not talking about the war im talking about the 60's...im just going to come right out and say it...i am a young teen and im a hippie, per say. Im all for free love and peace and no war no weapons no violence,,,no discrimination no judging. I believe we should all live freely. So my question is ...can the Flower Power Revolution that happened in the 60's (against the vietnam war) happen against the war in iraq? I think us "hippies" should band together and try the start the hippie revolution of the 21st century...we can have another Woodstock, restore the Haight-Ashbury section, and stop the war, and of course, restore the peace. If any of you have heard Panic at the disco's (patd's new music is the only kind of non 60's music that i like) they could be our beatles, they sound just like them but still different. haha...or we could bring back the originals (from original hippie revolution.) So do you think it could be done?
Can It Happen Again?
If you are able to find females willing to give up their hairdryers, cell phones, nail polish, designer clothes and comforts..... yes.
In reality, the streets and cities are all ready full of homeless,
living under bridges, in poverty conditions, and not loving it.
I love your dream, mine has been to go back to the "little house on the prairie" time zone., work hard, getting in touch with the land, growing your own food, work hard and sleep well.......no superficial status.
The reality of the 60's, was rebellion, everyone sleeping with everyone, stoned on LSD, thinking they could fly, and expecting the world as we knew it, to cease to exist any minute.......wish we could go back?...no..any more than our parents would want to go back to the roaring 20's, with Prohibition, gangsters..and machine guns.
We are, what we are, and where we are supposed to be, and will make the best of what we are handed in life....but thank goodness for dreams, that take us away, if even for a few moments.......thank you for your question.
